Bilingual Trainee Paralegal (fluent Japanese)

Our client is seeking a candidate who is fluent in both spoken and written Japanese and English. This role is working for a prestigious boutique law firm, and they will fully train you in all aspects of giving Paralegal support to the Partner who is responsible for managing and developing Japanese clients. Description:
- Manage day-to-day administrative operations
- The Paralegal will be responsible in assisting the Partner in terms of assisting clients in managing their corporate processes, as well as translating Japanese texts and communications
- Managing processes and other administrative functions to support the operations
- Coordinating Japanese events
- Arranging and following through on meetings
- Liaising with free zones and different government offices to process the documents of the client
- Coordinate and attend events
- Arrange meetings
- Assist with drafting contracts
Criteria:
- A strong understand of the Japanese ways of working and culture
- Someone who has a high attention to detail
- Lots of initiative
- Experience of drafting contracts would be an advantage but isn’t mandatory
- Degree educated
- Fluent written and spoken Japanese and English is essential
- Previous law firm experience would be highly advantageous however it isn’t essential
- A keen interest in working for a law firm
- Must currently reside in the UAE
