Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in Shopfitting in the Retail sector. Description:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for the Saudi Arabian market
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
- Lead a team of sales professionals, setting objectives, coaching, and performance monitoring
- Recruit, onboard, and train new sales representatives
- Identify potential clients and decision-makers and build long-term relationships with them
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Saudi market
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
- Meet and exceed sales KPI’s
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence
- Oversee the sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting and sales tracking
- Develop and manage the sales budget in Saudi region
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to forecast revenue
- Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the MD
- Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- Understand the competitive landscape and Saudi market trends
- Provide on-the-ground insights into market dynamics and changes
- Ensure adherence to laws and regulations governing business operations in Saudi Arabia
- Demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural nuances and business practices within the region
- Work closely with the Sales Director to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners
Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; an MBA would be an advantage
- A minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in Shopfitting in the Retail sector
- Understanding of the Saudi Arabian business culture and legal requirements
- Prior experience in managing a team
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Exceptional negotiation and sales skills
- Experience in business planning and negotiation
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
- Fluency/proficiency in Arabic and English is required due to the bilingual nature of the business environment in Saudi Arabia
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools
- Must have a strong business sense and industry expertise in Shopfitting in the Retail sector
- Must have own car and Saudi driving license
- Must currently reside in KSA
