Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager who has an extensive client list in the UAE for weddings, private home catering, large corporates, events. The primary function is to promote our clients’ amazing venues for events. In this role you will oversee the sales team and are responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue and meet company goals. Manage key accounts, develop new business opportunities, have a strong knowledge of menu engineering and ensure customer satisfaction. As part of the management team, you will contribute to company policies and procedures while maintaining open communication with the management team, and the company support office. Must have at least 5 years of sales experience in the food services industry, events, hospitality, catering sectors, F&B Consulting, and a strong UAE network of contacts. Description:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Analyse market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Set sales goals and performance metrics for the department
  • Generate new business, proactively identify and securing new catering clients
  • Leverage existing network within the UAE hospitality industry to generate qualified leads
  • Achieve monthly sales targets by building and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities
  • Train and mentor the Sales Executives
  • Monitor team performance and provide feedback and support
  • Conduct regular meetings to review progress and address challenges
  • Manage relationships with key accounts and high-value clients
  • Oversee the resolution of customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Ensure the sales process is followed and improved as needed
  • Develop and manage sales pipelines and forecasts
  • Review and approve sales proposals and contracts
  • Ensure all official quotations, invoices and POs are issues according to the company’s SOP
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and understand the competitive landscape
  • Analyse customer feedback to refine deliverables
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed as mentioned in the ‘Company Operations Manual’ or according to standards
  • Never change any policies, standards, or specifications of the operation, without prior approval of the senior management
  • Work closely with the Sales & Marketing Director to meet the sales target
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Coordinate with all departments for a smooth operation pre and post event
  • Work closely with the purchasing department for any major price increase affecting the cost
  • Getting updates on the cost control
  • Coordinate with the QHSE department to make sure the event is following the necessary guidelines
  • Build 360 event services by developing strong relationships with 3rd parties including photographers, table decorations, equipment rentals, entertainment companies etc.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports for senior management
  • Analyse sales data and metrics to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and clients’ interactions in the CRM system
  • Provide a monthly post-event feedback report for the management

Criteria:

  • Must have at least 5 years of sales experience in the food services industry, events, hospitality, catering sectors, F&B Consulting, and a strong UAE network of contacts
  • A Bachelor/TS/BS degree or equivalent education in Hospitality Management or Sales and Marketing is required
  • Proactive attitude and ability to generate new business and sell to large corporates, and private individual for ‘at home’ events
  • You must have your own car
  • Fluent Arabic would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Must currently reside in the UAE
