Senior Finance Manager

Our client is an established organization, and they are looking for a Senior Finance Manager who will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to the business through financial analysis and controlling. This person will work closely with the senior management in developing and implementing financial strategies that support the company’s overall business objectives as well as analyzing and interpreting financial data to provide insights and recommendations to the management. The special focus would be on ensuring good health of the balance sheet, efficient working capital and financial automation /digitization. Experience in implementing an ERP system is essential. Our client is looking for someone who comes from one of the following sectors: legal, corporate services, Big4, management consultants, a holding company with entities within it. Our client does not provide family benefits, and the salary mentioned is inclusive of the annual ticket. Description:
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reports on billing, worked hours
- Present annual financial statements for all the group entities
- Analyse financial performance against budget and forecasts, identifying key variances and providing insights
- Analyse Interoffice billings and expenses and prepare semi-annual reports
- Identify and mitigate financial risks related to market fluctuations, interest rates, and operational activities
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals
- Manage an accounts team of 4 people (accounts payable and receivable processes, billing, and tax returns)
- Analyse costs, expenses, and variances, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international financial regulations and standards
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate audit processes
- Manage tax planning strategies and ensure compliance with AML, tax laws and regulations
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software
- Coordinate with IT Administrator on implementation and customization of ERP system (Business Central)
- Continuously improve financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Utilize data analytics to support decision-making and identify trends
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., Legal and Operations to support overall business objectives)
- Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors and executive management
Criteria:
- A professional accounting qualification such as CA / ACCA / CFA /CPA is essential
- Our client is looking for someone who comes from one of the following sectors: legal, corporate services, Big4, management consultants, a holding company with entities within it
- Exposed to complex financial backgrounds (f.ex. working for an entity within a group, under multiple licenses, amount of transactions, multiple currencies or jurisdictions…)
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- The ability to work on multiple financial projects at any one time
- Strong time management and project management skills
- Must have managed a team
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles
- Proficiency with computers, especially Business Central and bookkeeping software, and MS Office
- High level of efficiency and accuracy
- Attention to detail and the ability to analyze large amounts of data
- Experience of implementing an ERP system is essential
- Must be tech savvy
- Experience of managing a team
- Someone with a stable work record not constantly changing jobs.
- Strong UAE experience including VAT and knowledge of all the CT regulations is essential
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the partners
- Experience of cross-border pricing transfers would be an advantage
- Must currently reside in the UAE
