This is a brand-new vacancy due to expansion and would suit a CA qualified professional with 4-8 years’ experience (our client is not looking for someone overqualified). This role sits within the CEO Office and is intended to provide hands-on financial analysis, accounting and taxation related support to the CEO, working alongside the existing finance team. The role supports the CEO by reviewing accounts, analysing tax positions, and preparing financial information and reports for investors and senior stakeholders. It is a practical, execution-focused role, requiring strong accounting judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to convert financial data into clear, structured outputs for leadership use. Description:

  • Financial reporting and consolidation in line with IFRS 3
  • Review management accounts and financial statements prepared by the Finance team
  • Analyse financial performance, trends, and variances across group entities
  • Support the CEO with interpretation of financial results and key financial movements
  • Prepare financial summaries and schedules for leadership review
  • Tax review and support
  • Assist with preparation of financial information and reports for investors and lenders
  • Support the development of investor presentations, financial packs, and explanatory notes
  • Respond to ad-hoc financial queries from the CEO relating to performance, tax, or financial structure
  • Support financial reporting requirements for investors, lenders, and senior stakeholders
  • Prepare financial schedules, summaries, and ad-hoc analysis to support CEO-level decision-making
  • Assist with financial modelling, sensitivity analysis, and scenario reviews where required
  • Support statutory accounting processes in line with IFRS
  • Assist with year-end close activities and coordination with external auditors
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reconciliation of balance sheet and P&L items
  • Work closely with the Finance team to obtain accurate and timely financial data
  • Liaise with external advisors as required for tax or reporting-related matters
  • Provide additional analytical and accounting capacity to support CEO priorities

Criteria:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is essential, 4-8 years’ experience (our client is not looking for someone overqualified)
  • Strong grounding in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting
  • Working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax
  • Experience supporting senior leadership or investor reporting preferred
  • Strong accounting and analytical capability
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Clear, structured communication of financial information
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Professional judgement and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Practical, reliable, and execution oriented
  • Comfortable working directly with senior leadership and able to communicate effectively
  • Calm and dependable under time pressure
  • Collaborative, team player
  • Trustworthy and commercially aware
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are available to start immediately however it isn’t essential . They won’t consider candidates with a 2 month notice period
  • Must currently reside in the UAE and have UAE experience
