Our client is a studio in AD that creates films, editorial content and experiences for organizations driving positive change. They also run workshops, events, and programs that bring the sustainability community together. The Senior Engagement Strategist is the intellectual engine of our client’s work. This is the person who sits across from a government ministry or a corporate sustainability team, understands what behaviour they are trying to change, identifies who needs to change it, and designs the strategy for how to reach them. This vacancy requires written and spoken English and Arabic. Our client is not looking for a Content Specialist or a Campaign Manager. They are looking for a behaviour change specialist who understands climate policy, the UAE context, and how to build programmes that move people from intention to action.  Please respect the criteria requirements and only apply if you meet these as you will not be considered if you do not. Description:

  • Produce audience mapping and insights for all major client engagements
  • Design engagement strategy deciding what channels, formats, and approaches will drive the behaviour change
  • Facilitate workshops and community programme design in Arabic and English with diverse community groups
  • Develop measurement framework defining what behaviour change success looks like for each client
  • Produce client strategy presentations and facilitate sessions
  • Translate dense climate policy into accessible, actionable content briefs for the production team
  • Lead discovery sessions with clients to understand their policy objectives and audience realities
  • Design engagement programmes from scratch: Ramadan community sessions, employee campaigns, school curricula
  • Work alongside the Head of Production to ensure every piece of content serves a strategic objective
  • Develop the post-delivery measurement reports that demonstrate behaviour change outcomes to clients
  • Stay current on UAE climate policy, Net Zero 2050 priorities, and relevant government initiatives

Criteria:

  • 6+ years of experience in behaviour change, social impact, or community engagement
  • Deep understanding of the UAE's multicultural community landscape, nationals, expats, different community types
  • Experience working with relatable UAE government entities would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, and must be able to facilitate sessions in both languages with authenticity
  • Demonstrable experience designing engagement programmes that produced measurable behavioural outcomes
  • Understanding of UAE climate policy, sustainability frameworks, and the Net Zero 2050 agenda
  • Background in behavioural economics, psychology, or social science would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills at both community and senior government level
  • Experience designing educational programmes for schools or youth audiences would be an advantage but it is not essential
  • Must currently reside in the UAE and must be prepared to reside in Abu Dhabi
