Our client is seeking an Events Coordinator with at least 3 years’ experience to assist the Senior Manager and Director with registration of all the workshops and events.  We consider our client to be an ‘Employer of Choice’ due to the great working environment, and they adopt a hybrid working model after the training period. Description:

  • Responding to enquiries related to workshops
  • Managing workshop registrations
  • Following up with unpaid participants for their payment to secure their seats
  • Working closely with the finance & administration team on issuing invoices and payments
  • Managing the waiting list for workshops
  • Working closely with the programmes team to make sure all information is recorded accurately in the CRM system
  • Updating the event registration and marking the attendance of participants for all workshops
  • Handling client inquiries and updates on registration process
  • Collecting documentation needed for the registration of participants for workshops
  • Providing on-ground support for events and workshops as required
  • Ensuring that all invoices are issued on time and are pre-paid
  • Liaising closely with the Accounts & Administrative team and ensuring all records are up to date
  • Working closely with the Membership team on newly registered members
  • Managing the registration process for workshops, as well as dealing with enquiries
  • Overseeing invoices and payment from those registered for workshops

Criteria:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in event coordination, preferably in professional services, education, governance, or corporate environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Event Management, Communications, or related field
  • Experience dealing with high-level executives is strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workshops and competing deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail in handling registrations, documentation, and CRM updates
  • Ability to maintain accurate financial and attendance records
  • Strong written communication skills (emails, confirmations, payment follow-ups)
  • Ability to handle sensitive conversations (e.g., unpaid invoices) diplomatically and professionally
  • Experience working with CRM systems and event registration platforms
  • Good Microsoft Office
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and record management
  • Ability to generate reports and track registration metrics
  • Solution-oriented and calm under pressure
  • Team player
  • Excellent standard of written and spoken English
  • Must currently reside in the UAE
