In this role you will act as a trusted partner to the CEO, combining financial oversight with operational and strategic support. Ensuring all reports, contracts, and business decisions are accurate, clear, and decision-ready, while improving efficiency and alignment across the organisation. Description:

  • Financial Oversight & Analysis: Review budgets, forecasts, management accounts, and KPIs for accuracy and alignment with strategic goals. Sense check assumptions, highlight risks, and provide actionable insights. Support commercial decision-making on contracts and proposals
  • Executive Filtering & Gatekeeping: Review reports, presentations, and requests before they reach the CEO. Ensure materials are concise, accurate, and prioritised. Challenge assumptions, flag risks, and summarise recommendations
  • Operational Alignment & Standards: Improve quality and consistency of reporting across teams. Establish standards for business cases, financial packs, and executive updates. Ensure cross-functional alignment between strategy and execution
  • Strategic Projects & Initiatives: Lead or support high-priority, cross-functional projects. Drive follow-through on CEO decisions and ensure accountability. Resolve complex or sensitive business issues proactively
  • Contracts & Key Documents: Conduct initial review of contracts and proposals. Identify commercial, financial, or operational risks and coordinate resolution before CEO review

Criteria:

  • MBA or a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting (CA), or a numerate discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Someone who comes from the consulting, investments sector would be highly advantageous but not essential
  • Strong commercial and financial judgement
  • High attention to detail and reviewing skills
  • Skilled at analysing complex financial and operational information
  • Clear, structured communicator with executive presence
  • Highly organised, decisive, and proactive
  • Confident challenging senior stakeholders constructively
  • Trusted, discreet, and operates with integrity
  • Background in finance, consulting, strategy, or operations
  • Proven experience supporting senior leadership with financial and operational decision-making
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Must currently reside in the UAE
