Our client is seeking a Compliance Manager who will be responsible for ensuring robust regulatory compliance, integrity, AML, data protection, and risk management across the company. The role leads and oversees these responsibilities through the effective adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), RegTech, and data analytics, enabling proactive risk identification, enhanced regulatory assurance, and scalable compliance in support of Company’s strategic growth and new business initiatives. Description:
- Support the management of Company’s relationship with the regulators using structured regulatory intelligence and analytics
- Provide senior management with AI‑generated insights, dashboards, and scenario analysis on compliance obligations
- Ensure regulatory communications, submissions, and responses are accurate, timely, and evidence‑based
- Use AI‑powered research and monitoring tools to track, analyse, and summarise regulatory developments impacting existing and new products
- Conduct regulatory benchmarking, horizon scanning, and comparative assessments using data analytics
- Provide concise, actionable regulatory intelligence to support strategic planning and innovation
- Lead and coordinate the Company’s Risk Review using AI‑supported risk identification, scoring, and trend analysis
- Maintain and enhance the Compliance Risk Database with predictive indicators and automated reporting
- Align risk frameworks with Internal Audit findings through data‑driven insights.
- Embed continuous risk monitoring across the organisation using dashboards and alerts
- Responsible for oversight and compliance with respect to data protection duties and obligations under DIFC and any other applicable Data Protection Law including but not limited to the following
- Being properly involved in a timely manner, on all issues relating to the protection of Personal Data
- Support AML compliance using AI‑based transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and risk‑scoring tools
- Review and approve CDD and enhanced due diligence leveraging AI‑assisted analysis
- Assist in preparation of MLRO reports using automated analytics and dashboards
- Oversee AML training using scenario‑based, data‑driven learning tools
- Monitor sanctions updates and manage GoAML reporting through automated workflows
- Provide coverage for surveillance, disclosure, and membership compliance as required
- Support the adoption and governance of AI, automation and analytics across Compliance and Oversight functions
Criteria:
- At least 3 years’ experience working in Compliance within the financial services sector in the DIFC is mandatory
- A degree in either Law, Finance or Business is required
- Deep regulatory, AML, and data protection expertise combined with strong understanding of AI, RegTech, and analytics
- Strategic risk management and decision‑making capability
- High ethical standards, independence, and sound judgment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
- Ability to navigate evolving regulatory and technological landscapes with confidence
- Must currently reside in the UAE
